It’s very interesting to see that the Average home price in Longmont has risen to 400K.
Not that I am surprised at all with the type of development currently here, and the revitalization of all our old neighborhoods. It is also a very desirable place to live, with our proximity to Boulder and the new tech companies moving in.
It does excite me, but it’s also is a reason to work towards balance in our market, by encouraging more reasonably priced housing starts. This is something I am going to work on, because it is an untapped market, stay tuned, I will keep you all updated as I learn more.
